This is a general-purpose terms document, not a substitute for legal advice. Have it reviewed by a lawyer before relying on it for a commercial launch.

🎉 During the public beta, NeverRunShort is provided free of charge to everyone — no subscription, no payment. Section 3 below describes the subscription terms that will apply once paid plans are enabled.

1. Using NeverRunShort

NeverRunShort is a personal cash-flow planning tool. Using the app requires a free account, but your planner data itself is stored only on your device unless you turn on cloud sync — an account does not mean your data leaves your device. (The public demo can be tried with no account at all.) You must be able to form a binding contract to create an account (in most places, this means being at least the age of majority where you live).

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account. Each account is private and individual — NeverRunShort does not currently support shared or collaborative planners. Let us know right away at hello@neverrunshort.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Free trial & subscription

Creating an account starts a 30-day free trial of cloud sync — no card required to start. After the trial, keeping cloud sync active requires a paid subscription ($4.99/month or $39/year, billed in advance and auto-renewing until you cancel). NeverRunShort itself — the planner and your locally saved data — keeps working on that device with or without a subscription; only syncing across devices is gated on it. You can cancel anytime from Settings → Manage billing (Stripe's billing portal); cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we don't offer prorated refunds for a partial period. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe — NeverRunShort never sees or stores your card details.

4. Your data

You own the data you enter into NeverRunShort. We store it to provide the service (sync, backup) and don't use it for anything else — see the privacy policy for the full detail. You can export a complete copy at any time, and you can delete your account and data at any time.

5. Not financial advice

NeverRunShort projects your cash flow based on the information you enter — it does not verify your bank balances, guarantee the accuracy of a projection, or give you financial, investment, or legal advice. Projections are only as accurate as the data you provide and the assumptions you set (recurring schedules, budget periods, and so on). Use your own judgment, and consult a qualified professional for financial or legal decisions.

6. No warranty

NeverRunShort is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We work to keep calculations correct and the service available, but we don't guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NeverRunShort and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including financial decisions made based on its projections.

8. Changes to the service or these terms

We may update NeverRunShort's features, pricing, or these terms over time. If we make a material change to these terms or to subscription pricing, we'll update the date at the top of this page; a pricing change will not apply to your current billing period. Continuing to use NeverRunShort after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using NeverRunShort and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service or violate these terms.
